Workshop: Scars: What the Tools Can Really Tell You

In this workshop, we will work hands-on with the tools you can use to measure scars objectively: Cutometer, DermaScan, DermalabCombo, Colorimeter, and 3D imaging. You will see what each one measures: elasticity, colour, thickness, texture and more. We will look at what the current evidence actually says about these measurements. We will also be honest about what works for us in practice versus what sounds good in theory, and when you're better off trusting your own assessment.

Workshop: Camouflage Make-up

Camouflage make-up is a highly pigmented, full-coverage make-up that reliably and long-lastingly conceals scars and visible skin imperfections. By matching the colour of the affected area to the surrounding skin tone, attention is drawn away from the skin imperfection and towards a more even complexion. Camouflage make-up is individually matched to each person’s skin tone and is particularly gentle on the skin. In this workshop you will receive an introduction to the fundamentals of colour theory, learn how to determine your individual skin tone and discover how to apply the make-up professionally.
